Key Account Sales Manager - Scandinavia

The Key Account Sales Manager will develop and manage a sustainable revenue stream in line with agreed financial targets via key strategic account/s for the Excel range of products – specifically Copper and Fibre Optic structured cabling systems, wall boxes, floor standing enclosure and cabinet accessories.


They will also:
• Develop a customer pipeline to deliver new business and grow sales with existing customers
• Secure long term and profitable engagement with the customer/s to achieve annual financial targets
• Present the Excel value proposition to customers using appropriate marketing materials and supporting documentation
• Develop and maintain an International Strategic Development Plan used to create tactical sales campaigns and so meet long term company targets
• Prepare and present regular updates on key account development, project opportunities, sales/margin forecasts, service issues and market intelligence at Sales Meetings
• Create plans and processes to deliver the highest level of customer services to all potential and existing international customers in every area of their contact with Mayflex
• Maintain accurate records of key customer communications and contact information – including but not limited to – visit reports, quotations, price lists, telephone meeting content and diary
Success in this role relies on exhibiting a high level of customer relationship skills, personal organisation and time management, combined with a commercially and strategically astute mind.  The ability to cope successfully with customer demands under pressure, adapt to rapidly changing business environments and maintain a keen eye for new opportunities are all essential skills.
Industry knowledge and experience are also essential for success in the job coupled with an awareness of and an ability to operate effectively in a variety of international business practices.
 You must have:
• Minimum of 3 years account management experience, with proven track record of successful execution of sales targets.
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Sound understanding of the structured cabling (fibre and copper) market
• Commercial experience and technical understanding
• Witten and spoken Scandinavian languages will be beneficial
• Global economic and political environment knowledge
• Comprehensive understanding of the region and industry
