It is also designed for stand-alone equipment not installed within cabinets and racks, or equipment requiring one or more dedicated power feeds, such as large servers, disk storage arrays, blade server enclosures and network switches.

The In-Line Box measures critical power information accurately via secure polling and real time SNMP.
