Mayflex Announces New Parcel Delivery Provider

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and IP physical security solutions distributor, has announced a strategic new partnership with FedEx, which will commence on 6th October.

This new partnership will provide and support Mayflex's next day parcel delivery service throughout the UK. In addition to the standard service offering of Next Day, Pre 10 and Pre 12, from 20th October, FedEx are also able to offer a Pre 9.00am service, allowing Mayflex to further enhance its service to customers. Jason Rudge, Supply Chain Director at Mayflex comments: “FedEx has more than 70,000 vehicles on the road worldwide, and we feel we have placed our customers' delivery requirements in very capable hands. We also take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and have therefore chosen a carrier service that actively integrates business practices that reduce emissions and use and support the development of alternate fuel vehicles.”
 
FedEx provides customers and businesses worldwide with a broad portfolio of transportation, e-commerce and business services and this new arrangement will allow Mayflex to increase the accuracy of its deliveries to customers to 99%. It will also enable Mayflex’s Customer Services team to have access to more detailed information on order tracking.
