Ackermann revolutionised the concept of the floorbox with the introduction of the first fast fit floor box, Cablelink Rapide. Further development has resulted in the launch of Cablelink Rapide Extra. Retaining all the popular features of the original version, Rapide Extra has been designed to offer easier and faster installation, increased flexibility, and a host of new features and options.

The robust one piece, one size moulded frame, offers the option of future proofing with the easy addition of a fourth module as required.

As standard each box is supplied as a three module floor box allowing expansion through the addition of a fourth module as required at a later date. To add this extra module simply remove the expansion plate and install the new module, no need to replace the floor box or disrupt existing services.

Each box is supplied with the expansion plate, a twin switched mains outlet, a 4 way LJU/6c mounting plate and a blank which can be replaced with any of the wide range of optional modules available.
