Some ceiling access points are mounted too deep into the ceiling, restricting the performance of the built-in antenna. WAP-3101 is more flexible than others as it resembles a smoke detector. It is strategically mounted to maximize the reach of the 6 dBi antenna. This way the signal remains unobstructed, offering solid coverage of the entire room. With the easy to install mounting kit included, you will have this Access Point plugged in and ready to go in under 10 minutes.
